Welcome to TallyO, a cloud-based financial dashboard for freelancers, gig workers, and independent contractors at tallyo.cloud. By creating an account or using TallyO, you agree to these terms. They're written in plain language so you know exactly what you're agreeing to.

The Service

TallyO is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for tracking income, expenses, mileage, invoices, and estimated taxes. Your data is stored securely in the cloud — not on your local device. TallyO offers paid subscription plans with a 14-day free trial. Current pricing is available at tallyo.cloud/pricing.

Subscriptions & Billing

All plans include a 14-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start your trial. You will not be charged until your trial ends. After 14 days, your plan begins automatically at $9/month or $99/year depending on the plan you selected. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid being charged.

Billing & Refunds

All plans include a 14-day free trial. You may cancel anytime from your dashboard. After the trial period, all charges are final. If you have billing concerns, contact hello@tallyo.cloud.

User Accounts

You must create an account to use TallyO. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, including your email and password. You must not share your account with others or allow unauthorized access. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

Not Financial Advice

TallyO is not a financial advisor, tax advisor, or accountant. The tools and estimates we provide are for informational purposes only. You are responsible for verifying your own financial data and consulting a qualified professional for financial or tax decisions.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter into TallyO. We provide the tools — you provide the numbers. Double-check your entries, especially before using them for tax filings or financial decisions.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use TallyO only for its intended purpose: managing your freelance finances. You must not:

• Use TallyO for any illegal activity, including money laundering or tax fraud
• Attempt to access other users' data or compromise the security of the platform
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the service
• Upload malicious files or content
• Resell or redistribute access to TallyO
• Use the service in a way that negatively impacts other users or our infrastructure

Your Data

You own your data. Everything you enter into TallyO — income, expenses, receipts, invoices, mileage logs, tax settings — belongs to you. We don't claim any ownership over your content. Your data is stored in the cloud using Supabase and is accessible from any device where you log into your account. You can export or request deletion of your data at any time.

Service Availability

We do not guarantee any specific level of uptime or availability. The service may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues. We will make reasonable efforts to keep the service running smoothly, but we are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the acceptable use policy above. We also reserve the right to terminate accounts that have been inactive for an extended period (12 months or more) after providing reasonable notice via email. We'll try to give you notice before taking action, unless the situation requires immediate response. You may also delete your own account at any time.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TallyO's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of TallyO, including financial losses based on data or calculations from the app.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of TallyO after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Free Tools & Calculator

TallyO offers free tools, including an Hourly Rate Calculator, that do not require an account. If you submit your email address through these tools, you agree to receive the requested content and related follow-up emails. You can unsubscribe at any time. We handle this data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
